Privacy policy

This policy explains what ETX Works Technology LLC ("ETX Works", "we") collects through etxworks.com and the ETX Works chat, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• What you send in chat: your messages, and any name, email address, phone number or company you choose to share.
• Context for the conversation: the page you were on, the page that referred you, your browser type and your IP address. We use these to understand your question and to block abuse.
• A chat identifier stored in your browser, so the conversation is still there if you come back. It is a random value and contains no personal information. Clearing your browser data removes it.
• Your light or dark display preference, stored in your browser.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent personal information.

How we use it

• To reply to you, in the chat and, if you gave us one, by email or text message.
• To follow up about the project or question you raised.
• To keep the site secure and prevent spam.

Text messages and email

If you give us a phone number or email, we will use it only to respond to your inquiry. Reply STOP to any text message, or tell us in chat, and we will stop.

Service providers

The site and its data are hosted on Microsoft Azure, and email and text messages are delivered through Microsoft Azure Communication Services. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Retention

We keep chat conversations for as long as they are useful for the relationship, and delete them on request.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Ask in the chat or reply to any email from us.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
